We begin the new year 2020 having brought hope and having planted the seeds of inclusion and compassion in Mexico. We want to thanks al our volunteers and friends of the Academy for their support. Special Thanks to Mrs. Helen Woo, Christian Family, Jerry Ruiz, Patricia P Vazquez and Ernesto Zapata for helping us to bring hope to these families.
We started by sponsoring the first-ever fundraiser for a residential group home in Mazatlán that treats depression and drug addiction for at-risk young men to reinforce a message of hope that they too can have productive lives. We also provided a warm meal, music and Christmas gifts to home-bound seniors residing in a communal center in the small town of Escuinapa, unfortunately, most of whom have no family or relatives who visit them, but like all of us who need to feel people care about them. And, we treated 250 kids living in a very low income fishing town in the outskirts of Mazatlán to a posada with food, refreshments, games and, of course, toys to bring happiness and joy to these children during this holiday season.
We hope you can keep supporting our mission of hope, compassion and inclusion. Enjoy the pictures!
