I am Annie Young, I am a true testimony of the work of the Academy of Special Dreams Foundation inclusive Art exhibitions. I am humbled that my art is included in the Uniting Borders Art exhibition. It is a fantastic opportunity for me to share alongside other artists living with disabilities our collective message of hope and possibilities to a global public. I am an artist first; I am not my disabilities. I want people to see my art first, then I can share with them about losing my eye sight later in life. The Academy of Special Dreams believed in me and provided me with opportunities that encouraged me. Without their support, I don’t think I would have continued along this path toward artistry. The support and encouragement from The Academy of Special Dreams Foundation has been immeasurable! Thank you for helping me to have hope and believe in myself and for support vulnerable artists.
