My love for building has influenced my art work as well as influenced my decision to pursue an educational path where I can create and build things, specifically things that are helpful, assistive items. I love to work with steel and being able to weld and create! That is why my major is in Engineering…I want to create prosthetic’s for animals. I will be going to college in the fall at Colorado State University. I will be getting help from the Disability office at the campus to get extra time on tests. I will also have tests read to me. I am also signed up to get help from the government funded TRIO program at Colorado State University. Both agencies will help access tutors and help for me. I just have to speak up more for myself and come out of my shell. I just have to work so hard for my grades and being creative comes naturally.
