Uniting Borders 2026 — “Identity”

Uniting Borders 2026 — “Identity”
Congratulations Artists:
Uniting Borders 2026: “Identity” celebrates cultural heritage, origin, and collective memory through art. This year’s exhibition places special emphasis on traditional Indigenous embroidery and textile arts, recognizing these practices as living languages that carry stories of history, territory, resilience, and identity.
The exhibition features an international collection of artworks and textiles created by artists with and without disabilities from California and beyond. Each work reflects the artist’s cultural roots and personal identity, uplifting voices and perspectives that have historically been underrepresented.
Come experience the art, hear the stories behind the work, and connect with the artists who make this exhibition so meaningful.
