Welcome Academy Community Ambassador Volunteer Graciela Martinez-Moreno

The Academy of Special Dreams Foundation is proud to welcome Graciela Martinez Moreno as an Academy Community Ambassador Volunteer. We extend our congratulations and appreciation for her dedication and generosity in supporting the special needs community and promoting inclusion for artists with disabilities.

Graciela’s support brings hope, courage, and opportunities to many artists in her community and helps create a more accepting and inclusive world for all people. We are grateful for her commitment to bringing public awareness, recognition, and appreciation to the creative talents of artists with disabilities and for her efforts in creating more opportunities for vulnerable families, both locally and internationally.

Graciela is originally from Michoacan, Mexico, but grew up in the United States as her parents immigrated to California when she was a child. She studied at the University of California in Santa Cruz and earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She is currently self-employed in the recruiting industry. Her professional life has mostly been working with non-profit organizations, either as a lawyer helping to bring legal services to low-income people or as a teacher in a Montessori environment. The importance of helping underrepresented people in need has always been a major focus in her life. She is grateful for the opportunity as an Academy Ambassador and is looking forward to a long and productive affiliation with the Academy and the community it serves.
