We announced today an Open Call for an inclusive Art Exhibition “Uniting Borders” Raíces featuring local and international artists hosted by the City of Alhambra in Alhambra, California, which will be on display during September 1st, 2022 – October 31st , 2022 at the Alhambra City Hall main lobby. The exhibition will feature original paintings, and other works of many international artists and local artist from San Gabriel Valley.
“We believe that all persons, regardless of their disabilities, should have equal opportunities to express their talents and to be successful in the Arts,” said Michael Dergar, President and CEO of the Pasadena-based Academy of Special Dreams Foundation. This Art Exhibition is another opportunity for us to encourage, promote and showcase the artistic expressions of these amazing artists from around the country. We give many thanks to the City of Alhambra, The California Art Council, Walmart and many friends and supporters for giving us the opportunity to create this inclusive exhibitions and to provide more opportunities to make a more inclusive society regardless of disabilities.
