Amanda likes to use different mediums for her artwork including paint, chalk and ink. She enjoys making pictures for individuals who are important to her. While in middle school, Amanda had artwork published in the American Printing House for the Blind, Inc. calendar. Amanda went through most of her high school years without painting and has recently rediscovered her love for the art. When not painting, Amanda loves hanging out with friends, playing video games and working for BAWAC a vocational adapted work environment. Through painting, Amanda has discovered a new creative side of her personality, a coping mechanism and a new found confidence in herself.
