Hello! I’m Nancy Betsabe, although most affectionately know me as Betsy. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Mazatlán, in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico. But my story took an extraordinary turn when, at the age of 12, I discovered a passion that would become the guiding light of my life: drawing and painting. From that moment on, I knew with absolute clarity what I wanted to be when I grew up—an artist.
My artistic journey led me down unexpected paths, and one of the most significant was my encounter with the Baupres Dream Academy in Mexico. Being a volunteer at this institution has been an unparalleled honor and privilege. My commitment to serving our community of individuals with special needs has become a profoundly enriching experience, both on a personal and artistic level.
The Baupres Dream Academy not only provided me with the opportunity to contribute to a community in need but also transformed my own life in ways I could never have imagined. Through my experiences here, I’ve discovered the transformative power of art and its profound impact on individuals with unique abilities. Every brushstroke, every artistic creation, has been a constant reminder of the beauty of diversity and the importance of inclusion.
