Welcome Todd Tostado. A Great Graphic Designer!

Hello, my name is Todd Tostado. As a child I enjoyed drawing. However, due to SMA by the time I was a teenager I had lost the ability to use my arms and hands, and thus lost the ability to draw. Then during my senior year of high school my parents bought me my first computer. And within the word processor I discovered a basic drawing program, and was immediately hooked. Suddenly I regained the ability to draw! In fact I was so hooked that I’ve devoted my college education to graphic design with an emphasis on computer graphics. Through education I’ve learned to use a wide varity of industry standard graphic software programs, and in the process prepared myself for a future in the graphics arts industry.

Though graphic design software is designed for commercial use, I prefer using it to create works of fine art. Over the last decade I have become more and more interested in 3D modeling and animation software, and now use combination with the design software to create art in various styles. Through my art I’m able to express my thoughts and feelings concerning the world I live in, and the people in my life. My art also gives me independence as it’s something that I can do without assistance from anyone. In fact it’s one of the few things in my life that I have complete control over. For when I’m working on a piece of art I’m able to forget that I am disabled, as in actuality I am using the same tools as everyone else. Thus, through my art I am at last equal to all others, but of course I still maintain my own personal and unique viewpoint.
