I find it hard to be vulnerable about personal difficulties, but I’ve learned that good things can come from opening up to those around me. Despite my difficulty with time management, impulsivity, organization, attention, and self-regulation, I don’t let those things define me or slow me down. I’m determined to accomplish my academic and career goals. I want to become the best artist that I can be and share that passion with others through education. I hope to empower young people with the tools, techniques, and time to bring their ideas to fruition, and I also want to be a living example of the fact that learning challenges like ADHD can be overcome, or even incorporated into one’s success. I want to show young people that they should believe in themselves and not let anything hold them back.
I am a recent graduate of Harbour View High School in Saint John, New Brunswick and I’ve been making art ever since I could hold a pencil. I am about to begin my studies at Mount Allison University, where I am pursuing a 4-year Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
