Welcome to “Vive” the Special DREAM Short Film Festival 2011.
The Academy will sponsor the premiere of a web-based international short film festival which will screen for the first time the works of adults with special needs to nurture existing and emerging creative talent. The festival will be open to all special needs communities. The winning entries will be featured on the Academy’s website so that these works can be enjoyed year-round by everyone.

Load your video on You-tube and e-mail the link with a picture and a small biography to specialacademy@gmail.com In order for you to participate you must register at: www.specialacademy.org to follow up with the competition’s news.

* Maximum Length: 5 minutes
* Maximum file size: 30 MB
* File type: Quicktime (.mov)
Submission Guidelines
Only images or video produced by artists with special needs will be eligible for submission for the Academy’s 2009-2010 Vive Film competition.
All materials must be submitted with the artist’s headshot, biography, and release form.
Mail DVD with a Quick time file and a release form to:

WOW!!!! What a fantastic video Michael! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication! I love all the scenes of Los Angeles and special thanks to all who participated in the short film! The video really captures the essence of what makes Los Angeles the very special city that it is- there is no place like L.A.!!!!! So blessed we are to live in this glorious city!
