ILL-Abilities™ is an international breakdance crew comprised of dancers who may be perceived as having physical limitations in some way.
ILL-Abilities’ mission is to redefine society’s view of disability, promote empowerment, and encourage limitless possibilities through motivational entertainment.
In June 2008, ILL-Abilities™ made its world-debut appearance as a full crew at the No Limits fundraiser in Montreal, Canada. After the debut, members continued to develop and grow as motivational leaders and dancers, making major social impacts in their respective communities. ILL-Abilities™ also had international opportunities with performances garnering worldwide visibility at the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Opening Ceremonies, R16 Finals (South Korea), “Backflip in Jeans” Levi’s Commercial, South American Sudaka Bboy Championship , and many others.
In anticipation of No Limits 2012, ILL-Abilities™ will dedicate one month touring schools, hospitals, conferences, and dance events across Canada and the U.S. The crew is planning Motivational Entertainment performances and media appearances to raise awareness and inspire audiences at a much larger scale.
The tour ends with the No Limits Fundraiser event, in Montreal (Fall 2012). This all-ages, all-abilities, family-friendly evening will include 2on2 breakdance battles, musical performances, and an unseen ILL-Abilities™ choreography performance.
All proceeds from No Limits will go towards funding minimal-cost performances by the ILL-Abilities™ crew in schools and institutions around the world in the need of inspiration. For more information or bookings please contact:
